| Provence: the beautiful Snow White |
|
| How beautiful Provence is under the snow! For the second year in a row, we are lucky to discover the usually green Provence snow-covered. Some tourists had to stay longer than programmed, as in Les Baux de Provence where snowdrifts made impossible any motorized movements. |

| Arles: Caesar’s come back |

| « The Rhone, far from being a long quiet river, conveys a part of Arles history in its memory, shaped in fragments of marble, ships, amphoras and ceramics.” explains Luc Long, the general commissioner of the exhibition “”César, le Rhône pour mémoire” which takes place in the Musée départemental de l’Arles Antique until September 19, 2010. |

| November 2009: Musical encounters in Monte Carlo |

| During five days, from November the 24th to the 28th, will take place in the Principality, the 4th Monte Carlo Jazz Festival. A large range of music, from jazz to electro, is programmed with bands such as the Andy Nary Group, the Dies Goa Unit, the Poogy Bell Band,… and the Monaco Jazz Chorus, created in 2003 by five jazz fans. |

| 2009: Provence celebrates Picasso |
|
| 50 years after Picasso moved near the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, Provence has celebrated since last may the great Spanish master. The “Picasso-Cézanne” exhibit, which just ended, gathered around 100 pieces of art from the two painters. Around 350 000 visitors entered the Granet Museum in Aix-en-Provence to discover Cézanne’s influence on Picasso’s work. |

| Chocolate: discover the Puyricard factory |

| Chocolate lovers are welcome to the Chocolaterie Puyricard located in Aix-en-Provence. After a film explaining the history of the factory (the owners lived in the ex Belgian Congo) and the transformation of the cocoa beans, you will be proposed a guided visit of the different manufacturing workshops: at first the calissons room (the sweet speciality from Aix) and then the chocolate rooms where it is melt, moulded, dipped, coated,… to be finally packed by hand. At each step of manufacturing, you will have the chance to taste the Puyricard specialities. Yummy! |

| Pierre Reboul: a restaurant for good …and fun |

| The Michelin Guide did not hesitate long. It gave its first star to Pierre Reboul last february, even if his new restaurant in Aix was only a few months old. But the Chef who worked in prestigious restaurants in Paris and Valence had already proved his talent. |
