After completing a management degree in Paris and an MBA in the United States, Hervé Honen worked for 15 years as a management consultant with several major consulting companies. He is trilingual in French-English-Spanish and has carried out numerous consulting missions in Europe during which he enhanced his knowledge of cosmopolitan environments.Where did he get the idea for Provence Dream Property? “It became obvious to me several years ago when I experienced at first hand the difficulty of finding a property from a distance and with limited availability” Hervé explains. Before finding his dream property in the Aix-en-Provence countryside, he visited more than 50 properties in Provence, three quarters of which did not match his expectations. For foreigners, it's even harder: in addition to the language barrier they must also come to grips with tax regulations, cultural differences, etc. “Therefore it is necessary to have your “twin” to do the groundwork, equipped with a good network and a solid understanding of the rules, customs and culture. She has a degree in political science as well as an MBA. She began her career as a communications consultant before becoming a free-lance PR for Relais & Châteaux and then a writer-journalist.

In addition, Christine is very keen on arts and gastronomy. She knows the dates of all the festivals, shows and also the addresses of the best restaurants in the South of France.

“Paradise is in Provence”

Charlotte is a true Provencal native. In her family tree it's impossible to count the number of generations having lived in Manosque or Saint-André les Alpes! She was born in Manosque in the very same house her father was born. She spent almost 50 years in the town of the writer Jean Giono. Her home is now in Aix-en-Provence. “With its light, colours and wonderful smells, Provence is a kind of paradise. It's a living painting, Cezanne understood it well” she adds with her lovely Provencal accent. She loves antiques and decoration, as the different properties she has tastefully decorated demonstrate. Charlotte has followed the evolution of the local property market and knows how to seek out an opportunity and to snap it up.
